My daughter does not like winter - which is an understatement. I bought this jelly roll of Riley Blake's Willow collection at the Missouri Star Quilt Company when a friend and I went up there. I thought of Jeanne immediately when I saw it as they were colors that she loves. I wanted to do something simple and used the Strip and Flip tutorial from Cluck Cluck Sew. I have called it the Promise of Spring as it starts with the grays of winter, then you see some green coming through, followed by jonquils, and the gorgeous pinks of spring. I hope she enjoys it.
